The weather here has been fantastic. Until today. Today the clouds have rolled in and begun to open up. As we've boarded and now await departure... I'm thinking only about what a fabulous time we had here. I'm blessed to have now experienced my 3rd such trip. And even MORE blessed to have been on such a trip at least once with each of the boys. It's super having been here. But it's even GREATER to be heading back to the GREAT USA!!! 🍀🇮🇪🎶✈🇺🇸

Galway - Another Night

It took about 2hrs of driving along some incredibly remote mountain roadways to get here. But, once again, it was quite worth the effort. This magnificent structure served as a beautiful backdrop to this morning's performance.

Slieve League

Heading south from Londonderry to Galway we stopped in County Donegal to experience Slieve League. In the pic here we were at about 1,400ft. When we first arrived, visibility was horribly limited. And after about 30min of wishful thinking, we all loaded back onto the shuttles to head back down. Shuttles loaded... and the mist / fog cleared. In about a minute. All of it. Just gone. We all poured out of the shuttles to take it all in. I like to think Betty (gone now almost 5yrs - always looking down upon us, I've no doubt) had a hand in what turned out to be an absolutely spectacular sight to behold. What you don't see in this pic is the amazing left-to-right far-as-the-eye-can-see massive expanse of this natural wonder. So incredibly blessed.

At It Again!

Final day of prep. One more wake-up and it's wheels up. Again. Every other year, various members of Elder's Glee Club (and tons of family / friends - typically numbering 200+) embark on a European Concert Tour. The KelleyBoys have been blessed over the years with several such trips. It all started in '09 when Cameron & I were initiated with a trip to the Emerald Isle (pictured somewhere in the Ring of Kerry).

In '11, Kim went to Germany with Cameron & Holden (pictured in Leipzig).

Then '13 rolled around and I got to accompany Cameron, Holden & Duncan to Austria & Italy (pictured on the canals of Venice).

When '15 was upon us it was time for Kim, Holden, Duncan & Paxton to head for Switzerland (pictured outside the Engelberg Abbey).

And tomorrow... I'm heading back to Ireland... this time with Duncan, Paxton & Griffin. Stay tuned, folks. Plenty to come from this trip.
